Signs are going up in businesses around town signifying efforts to spruce up Marshall County.
The Three-Star Beautification Committee has begun a Three-Star Beautification Recognition program in which businesses that do a little landscaping to make their locations more appealing can be recognized. Any business that has done a little work to improve its appearance can contact JECDB Director Mike Wiles and asked to be considered. The Three-Star Beautification Committee will then come out and take a look to decide if that business should receive Beautification Recognition. If so, a sign will be placed at the business announcing it as a place deserving of Beautification Recognition.
Already several businesses around Marshall County have been recognized including Hometown Grocery Store, London Funeral Home, Richland Inn, Lewisburg Gas Department, the Ladies Restroom, Farrar Bonding, the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Headquarters, Companion Animal Hospital, Sonic Drive-In of Lewisburg, Creekside Properties, and Duck River Electric.
If you would like to nominate a business for Beautification Recognition, contact JECDB Director Mike Wiles at 359-5536 or email@example.com.
