William Norris Shaw, age 90, of the Diana Community, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at his home following a farm accident.
Mr. Shaw was a native of the Blue Creek Community in Tennessee, and twin son of the late Willie Lewis and Mary Evelyn Lowe Shaw. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a farmer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Richard Orris Shaw in 2005. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Estep Shaw of Diana; daughter, Susan Shaw, and son, Jeff (Julie) Shaw; brother, Claude Shaw of Selma, Ala.; sister-in-law, Loyce Shaw of Diana; two nephews, Randall and Barry (Penny) Shaw; great-nephew, Rand Shaw; and two grandchildren, Holly and Jonathan Stewart.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 24, 2009, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery with military honors.
The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Friday until the funeral hour for visitation.
