Obituary: Michael Lamont Holder

Michael Lamont Holder, 50, of Chattanooga, died Thursday, July 16, 2009, in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

He is survived by his long-time partner, Lamar Heard of Chattanooga; father and stepmother, Allen and Dot Holder of Lewisburg; mother, Ruth Branson of California; brother, Gary Holder of Park City, Ala., and two stepbrothers, Anthony Bowden and Wickey Gower, both of Lewisburg.

A memorial service was held in Chattanooga on Saturday, Aug. 1.

A private graveside service was held in Lone Oak Cemetery on Monday, Aug. 3.
