James Ricky Brogan, 57, of Lewisburg, died Friday, July 31, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Brogan was a native of Boise, Idaho. He was a former employee of Heil Quaker Corporation with 25 years of service, an employee of Goodman Corporation for the past three and a half years, and was a member of the Baptist church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loretta Baker Brogan and James L. Brogan; brother, Bobby Wilson; and sister, Carolyn Brock.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Peggy Griffin Brogan of Lewisburg; daughters, Kimberly (Richard) Culbertson and Karen Brogan of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Brittany Griffin and Mikey Culbertson, both of Lewisburg; brother, Charles Brockman of Marshall, Mo.; sisters, Susie Ring of Lewisburg and Linda Messer of Washington, D.C.; stepbrother, Johnny Wilson and stepsister, Jo Tatum.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Aug. 2, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Brother Ralph Niamon officiating, followed by burial in Elliot Cemetery, Chapel Hill.
