Mr. John Curtis Hickman, age 86 of the Robertson Fork Community died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Hickman was a native of Maury County, Tennessee and son of the late Jesse Allen and Nona Thurman Hickman. He was a farmer and retired from Heil-Quaker Corporation as a storekeeper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Ann Osteen and two brothers, J.B. Hickman and Allen (Mott) Hickman. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Edna Earl Hickman of Robertson Fork. He was blessed to have two daughters, Brenda Carol (Ronnie) Edwards of Lewisburg and Cathy Joyce ( Barry) Maxwell of Pulaski, two sisters, Nona Jewel McBride and Mary Louise Osborne both of Lewisburg, six grandchildren, Lisa Dianne (Bryan) Qualls, Bradley Curtis (Shannon) Wells, Danielle (Rob) Russell, Jon Maxwell, Tracy (Jimmie) Armstrong, and Tim (Dara) Edwards. Ten great grandchildren, Adam Bentley Qualls, Riley Curtis Qualls, Aaron Matthew Qualls, Allison Layne Wells, Molly Catherine Qualls, Jonathan Ryan Russell, Tanner Edwards, Andi Kay Edwards, Alex Armstrong and Hannah Armstrong.
Funeral services will be conducted by James Dickey Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lynnwood Cemetery at Lynnville. His nephew, David Holder will conduct the graveside services.
The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday until the funeral hour for visitation.
