Obituary: Dimple Dean Wilkerson Wilson
Funeral services for Mrs. Dimple Dean Wilkerson Wilson, Age 85 of Dickson, Tn will be conducted Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Gaylan Brown and Steve Baggett officiating. Place of rest will be in the Marvin Addition of the Dickson Union Cemetery. Those desiring, memorials may be made to the Alive Hospice, Pomona Church of Christ or the Norwood Church of Christ of Knoxville. Services under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson, a seamstress, loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, died August 3, 2009 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas. A native of Trimble, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Olga Eugene and Lou Ella Park Wilkerson. An avid gardener who loved the beauty of God's flowers and creations. She was a member of the Church of Christ and attended Pomona Church of Christ and Norwood Church of Christ of Knoxville. She was married to the late Joseph Clyde Wilson for 63 years. A special note of gratitude to her loving caregiver Lea Ann Clark and a special thanks to Alive Hospice at St. Thomas and Dr. Van Mills and staff for all the care they have given her during her life and death.
Survivors include Her Son; Joseph Wilson and his wife, Glynda of Dickson, Her Daughter Janice Curd and her husband, Lewis of Dickson, her Sister; LaQuita Weaver of Lewisburg, Tn Her Grandchildren; Allison Kruse and her husband Blake of Dickson, Ami Higgins and her husband, Chris of Somerset, Ky., Andrew Curd of Raleigh NC and Leigh-Anne Wilson of Tri Cities, Her Great Grandchildren; Collins Kruse, Grant Kruse, Garrett Kruse and Walker Higgins.
