Obituary: Elise Fox Wheeler

Elise Fox Wheeler, 90, of Holt's Corner, formerly of Cornersville, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, in NHC Columbia Healthcare.

Mrs. Wheeler was a native of Marshall County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burch and Nettie Fox.

She is survived by her son, Don Wheeler of Chapel Hill; brothers, William Fox of the Brick Church Community, Claude Fox of Prospect, and Sam Fox of the Diana Community; sister, Janie Clifton of the Diana Community; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Aug. 9, from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, followed by burial in Beechwood Cemetery.
