* From the Ascend Federal Credit Union on Rock Crusher Road: a stop sign, valued at $115.
* From a residence on White Drive: a 1500 psi TSC pressure washer, valued at $600.
* From a car parked at its owner's residence on James Shaw Road: a handbag containing cash, a debit card, prescription medications, drivers license, four social security cards, two gift cards, and a cell phone, valued at $620.
* A counterfeit $5 bill was passed at Krystals on Aug. 4. An employee was counting the money for deposit on Aug. 5 and "found a $5 bill that felt different to the touch." A teller at First Commerce Bank confirmed that the bill was counterfeit.

Blackwell had been convicted of selling a Schedule II drug. He is due in court on the failure to appear charge (in another drug case) on Sept. 8.

Public intoxication:
* Gerald R. Reardon, 42, Cornersville. Bond: $500; court date: Aug. 17. The next day, Aug. 2, Reardon is accused of "theft of services" because it is alleged he ate the buffet and drank sweet tea at Shoney's without paying.
