Mrs. Barnett was employed by NHC Healthcare culinary, and loved to cook for anyone hungry or in need until her health failed. She was a member of Greater First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jessie Gentry-Radley; former husband and father of her children, William Moore; and brothers, William and George Radley.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew Barnett, sons, Jesse, Frankie, and Ricky Moore, and daughters, Ann and Shirley Moore, all of Lewisburg; sisters, Faye and Carlotta Radley of Nashville, Sarah Oglesby of College Grove, and Frankie Alexander of South Bend, Ind.; 23 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Mrs. Barnett lay in state at the Lewisburg Family Life Center on Thursday, Sept. 3.
There will be a family hour from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Greater First Baptist Church, William Herbert Johnson, Pastor. It will be followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. and burial in Egypt Cemetery, Chapel Hill.
