The Farmers Market's Tuesday hours are now 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fridays will remain the same: 6 a.m. until noon.

The annual 4H Poultry Show and Sale will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Expo Center on Robin Hood Road, Lewisburg. All proceeds from the sale go directly to 4H members.

The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a workshop entitled "Small Business Survival in Tough Economic Times" at noon Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Lewisburg Gas Department. Call the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce at 359-3863 to reserve your seat. There is a fee and at least 15 people must sign up in order to hold the workshop.

The Marshall County Child Development Center will hold a skate night at the We Skate Center, 1635 New Columbia Hwy, from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24. Half the evening's proceeds will go toward the center.
