Obituary: Laura Virginia "L.V." Sanders Hudson

Laura Virginia "L.V." Sanders Hudson, 89, of the Rover Community of Bedford County, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009. Mrs. Hudson was born in Williamson County. She was a homemaker and was a long-time member of the Rover Community Club. Mrs. Hudson was a life-long member and former Sunday School teacher at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Rover.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Cleveland and Mahalia Palestine Potts Sanders, and husband, Allen Moore Hudson.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Juanita Beasley of Rover, and Virginia (J.T.) Taylor and Janice Faye (Ronnie) Sudberry, all of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Scotty Sorrells officiating, followed by burial in Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community.

Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers.
