Obituary: Cora Barnett

Cora Barnett, 94, of the Holt's Corner Community of Marshall County, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at her residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Barnett was a native of Cullman, Ala. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Clark and Mary Elizabeth Nix Berry.

She is survived by her son, Larry Dudley Barnett of Holt's Corner, and one grandchild, Steven Barnett of Auburn, Ala.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home, followed by burial in Swanson Cemetery.
