John Thomas Langley Jr., 73, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Langley was a native of Maury County. He was a retired carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Langley Sr. and Abby Lou Cathey Langley; son, Kenneth Wayne Langley; sister, Elizabeth Martin; and brother, Bill Langley.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty Ruth Davis Langley; daughters, Brenda Kaye Fuller and Linda Faye Wallace; sons, William David Langley and Johnny Ray Langley, all of Lewisburg; sisters, Margaret Langley Bush of Wisconsin and Rachel Cathey Cannon of El Paso, Texas; brother, Bob Langely of Lewisburg; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with Ed Luna officiating, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers were Danny Scott, Troy Wallace, Tommy Wallace, Matthew Begley, Jeff Corbin and Kelly Corbin.
