Obituary: Rachel A. Norton

Rachel A. Norton, 73, of Huntsville, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009.

She is survived by her husband, William E. Norton, and daughter, Wanda Tucker, both of Huntsville; sons, Richard Norton of Madison, Ala. and Randal Norton of Huntsville; brother, J. W. Harper of Lewisburg; sister, June Cook of New Market; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Mayfair Church of Christ, 1095 Carl T. Jones Drive SE, Huntsville, Ala. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Dr. Gary Bradley and Jason Bybee officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Mission Lazarus or Baja Missions c/o Mayfair Church of Christ.
