The Young Farmers and Ranchers of Marshall County will have a Haunted Woods every Friday and Saturday night in October from 7 until 11 p.m. at the Strasser Farm, 1.5 miles east of the Chapel Hill Post Office. The Marshall County Memorial Library will resume its 55-hour schedule beginning Monday, Oct. 12: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Marshall County Emergency Communications District Board of Directors will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the operations center, in the Hardison Office Annex, 230 College St., Lewisburg.

The Cornersville Action Team will host Fall Festival from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Cornersville Elementary School. There will be games, food, a silent auction, baked goods and a cakewalk. All proceeds go to the Cornersville Action Team.

The Lone Oak Cemetery Advisory Board will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

The Chapel Hill Town Hall will be closed on Friday, Oct. 23, due to moving to the temporary location at 120 North Horton Parkway. The office will reopen at the new location on Monday, Oct. 26.

The Lord's House of Prayer, 1205 Nashville Hwy, Lewisburg, will hold a benefit singing and food auction at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Featured group will be The Followers from Chapel Hill.

Christian comedian Jimmie Fitzgerald will perform at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at the Lewisburg Recreation Center to conclude the St. James Revival. Only 300 tickets are available.
