A locked 1996 Chevy Blazer, tag number 678 EWN, was removed from where it had been left at Anes Station Road and Stegall Road on Sunday, Oct. 25. The Blazer had been seen there by law enforcement at 7:40 a.m. and was still there at 4:13 p.m. The MCSD had the vehicle towed by Brown & Sons Wrecker due to safety concerns because of the narrowness of the road.

Thefts reported

* A 4x8 foot faded red utility trailer with a tilt bed, wood flooring and a crank winch, value: $300, was taken from a front yard on West Cedar Street. It had a spare tire loaded on it.

* A red Honda 4 Trax four-wheeler, value: $800, was taken from a barn on Sowell Mill Pike.

* A Phillips 42-inch flat screen TV, value: $800, was taken from a home on Railroad Road, Chapel Hill.

* Jewelry, including a man's ring worth $5,500, and other items, total value: $6,270, were stolen from a home on Snell Road on Aug. 31. The theft was reported to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department on Oct. 20.

* Jewelry, total value: $4,326, was stolen from a residence on Old Belfast Road between Sept. 16 and Oct. 16. The theft was reported to MCSD on Oct. 20.

* Godson Tshombe Tennyson, 37, Columbia. Bond: $70,000; court date: Nov. 17. Tennyson was also charged by the 17th Judicial District Drug Task Force with criminal impersonation.
