Obituary: Emma Jean Haskins

Emma Jean Haskins, 70, of the Haskins Chapel Community of Bedford County, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in Maury Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Haskins was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Will Berry and Ruby Selene Dunn Cook; husband, Clarence Haskins; and son, Scotty Haskins.

She is survived by her daughters, Peggy George and Stacy Moore, both of Haskins Chapel, and Miranda Johnson of Lewisburg; sister, Virginia Gassaway of Haskins Chapel; brother, Eldridge Cook of Chapel Hill; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 10, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Bowers officiating, followed by burial in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Bedford County.
