The Marshall County Memorial Library is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Library will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 18 (working on some technical issues) and for the Thanksgiving Holiday (Thursday, Nov. 26, through Saturday, Nov. 28).

Winners of each of three age groups may compete at New Prospect, Tenn. for a district title. Thereafter, winners compete in Franklin for a state title. The Marshall County Shrine Club is holding a Turkey Shoot from 9 a.m. until noon at the Delina Crossroads Market (old Delina Store). The prizes include a ham and a turkey. All proceeds benefit Shrine Hospitals for crippled or burned children.
