Obituary: Lorene McKelvey Hopper

Lorene McKelvey Hopper, 88, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at NHC Lewisburg.

Mrs. Hopper was a native of Maury County. She was retired as a bank clerk and was a member of the Westvue Church of Christ.

Mrs. Hopper was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo Doro McKelvey and Jennie Dyer McKelvey; husband, Cyrus Melton Hopper; and niece, Betty Ann Harrison.

She is survived by two nieces, one great-niece, and six nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until noon Friday, Nov. 13, at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home, followed by graveside services at 12:30 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery near Culleoka.
