Marshall County Sheriff's Department deputies were called to a farm on Nashville Highway this week to investigate the theft of stock trailer.

A 1984 Featherlite 20-foot aluminum gooseneck livestock trailer with dual axles was stolen from 5577 Nashville Highway sometime between Nov. 9 and 8 a.m. Nov. 10 when the MCSD was called. The trailer has two sections, a nose compartment, and panels missing from the rear gate. The VIN number is 1PFL20208EAI0133. The owner, who lives in Chapel Hill, estimates the trailer's value at $9,000.

Other thefts and vandalism reported

* A bag of electrical hand tools and a phone charger, total value: $700, were stolen over the weekend from a 1999 Toyota parked at its owner's residence in Belfast.

* A coffee table, end table, TSC truck tool box, and an inflatable boat, total value: $415, were taken from a residence on Darnell Mealer Road.

* A Playstation, two controls, and eight games, total value: $80, were taken from a residence on Claude Fox Road, Cornersville. The door had been pried open, doing $150-worth of damage, to gain entry. The house had also been entered the week before, but nothing was taken at that time.

* An undetermined amount of antiques were taken from an outbuilding at a residence on Hwy 40 on or about Nov. 7. The property owner will furnish police with a list of missing items in the near future.

* A brand new fly wheel and 30 music CDs, total value over $300, were stolen from a 1992 Pontiac Firebird between Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.

* Two gates were bent and knocked down, along with 40-50 feet of wood fence, at residence on Ebenezer Hollow Road, Cornersville. Samples of blue paint and a mirror cover from the vehicle that might have done the damage were collected at the scene.

* The left front tire of a 1997 Honda, value: $100, was punctured with a sharp object, possibly while the car was parked at Kroger.

* A counterfeit $20 bill was found by a First Commerce Bank employee in the night deposit from the Shell Station on South Ellington Parkway.

* Janice Elizabeth Mangrum, 30, Poorhouse Road. Bond: $1,000; court date: Dec. 1.

* Thomas Edward Brown Jr., 46, Chapel Hill. Held without bond for court on Nov. 17. Brown was out on bond after another domestic assault, and violated his no-contact order.

* Willie P. Davis II, 21, Brents Road. Bond: $7,500; court date: Dec. 7.

Served with a criminal summons for assault

* William Lee, 25, Clyde Avenue. Court date: Dec. 7.

Arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession, and violation of the open container law

* Timothy Lee Hollis, 34, Belfast. Bond: $1,750; court date; Dec. 8. Hollis was also issued with a citation for violation of the wheel tax law. Additional charges may be brought, depending on lab results for the unknown pills found in Hollis' vehicle.

* Martin Phillip Schultz, 47, 1st Avenue North, and Donna L. Cook, 47, Harwell Street. Bond: $500 each; court date: Dec. 7. Schultz and Cook were found about 10 a.m. Nov. 7, lying in a puddle of water behind a building at 225 East Commerce Street. Two empty 40-ounce bottles of beer and an almost empty pint of vodka were found with them.
