Obituary: Bill Hargrove

Mr. Bill Hargrove, age 87, of Lewisburg, TN, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at NHC Lewisburg. A native of Limestone County, Ala., he was a son of the late Erskin and Estella Akin Brown Hargrove. Mr. Hargrove was retired from the former Heil-Quaker Corp. in Lewisburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Edmondson Hargrove who died in 2006, a sister, Kathryn Brown and a brother, Kirby Hargrove.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Van Hargrove of Lewisburg; two sisters, Myrel Burrow of Pulaski and Levonia Scruggs of Nashville; two brothers, Cecil "Cy" Hargrove of Shelbyville and Earnest "Sunday" Hargrove of Lewisburg; two grandchildren, Jennifer Hargrove and Lana Hargrove Alder; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Ed Burrow officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Cemetery.
