Obituary: Thelma Mae Rowland

Mrs. Rowland was a native of Trenton, Texas. She was retired from NHC Merihil Healthcare and was a member of Church Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph M. and Pearl Starnes Austin; husband, Fred Mitchell Rowland; sister, Helen Green; and brother, J.W. Austin.

She is survived by her daughters, Bettie Ann (Ivan) Coxon and Janice (Charles) May, both of Lewisburg, and Sharon Downing of Wheel; sister, Josephine Stafford; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two nephews; and three nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
