Obituary: Lydle Jackson Hargrove

Lydle Jackson Hargrove, 75, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, in Centennial Medical Center.

Mr. Hargrove was a native of Marshall County. He was a member of the New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and retired from Genesco and Inter City Products. He was employed by the Marshall County School Bus Garage as a handicap bus aide.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Labron Harrison and Lizzie Osborne Hargrove; sisters, Jennie Lee Ragsdale, Ella Mai Ragsdale, and Lorene Crain; and brother, Jesse B. Hargrove.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Perryman Hargrove of Lewisburg; daughter, Helen (Henry) delValle of Key West, Fla.; sons, Steve (Diana) Hargrove of Nashville and Tracy Scott Hargrove of Lewisburg; brother, John W. Hargrove of Lewisburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 8, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
