Leonard "Hippie" Riggins, 63, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.
Mr. Riggins was a native of Madison County, Ala. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie James and Mattie Bea McPeters Riggins.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Faye Etapa and Annie B. Sanders, both of Fayetteville; brothers, Jessie James Riggins Jr. of Lacey Springs, Ala., Leon Riggins, Rickey Riggins, and Steve Riggins, all of Fayetteville, and Jerry Riggins of Lewisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 26, at New Grove Cemetery with Bro. Henry McPeters officiating.
Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home assisted the family.
