Dorothy L. Frank, age 74, of Wauseon, Ohio, and formerly of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Fulton County Health Center. Prior to her retirement in 1999, she had worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, having worked at the
former Detwiler Hospital in Wauseon and then the Fulton County Health Center as Night Supervisor.
Dorothy was born in Lewisburg, Tennessee on May 10, 1935, the daughter of the late Albert Lee and Ruby (Jones) Darnell. On September 21, 1957 she married Dean Frank, and he preceded her in death in 2001. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wauseon.
Surviving are her children, Cameron Craig (Kathleen) Frank of Wauseon, Todd (Myrna) Frank of Williston, VT, Wade (Carolyn) Frank of Lebanon, OH, Pamela (John) Cowan of Lexington, KY; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Edna Hendricks of Nashville, TN; and three brothers Jimmy, Bobby, and William Darnell of Lewisburg, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randy Titus, officiating. Interment will follow in the Winameg Cemetery, near Delta. Friends may call at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon on
