Ivan Harold Coxon, 76, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, in NHC Lewisburg.
Mr. Coxon was a native of Canada. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from ICP and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Clara Mae McCullough Coxon; son, Victor Coxon; brother, Dan Coxon; and stepmother, Inez Coxon. He is survived by his wife, Bettie Ann Rowland Coxon, stepson, Tod (Sherry) Cashion and stepdaughter, Jan (James) Daughrity, all of Lewisburg; daughter, Pam (Alan) Patterson of Columbia; half-sisters, Mary Sweet and Kathy Hynes, both of Canada, and Paula Barnes of Missouri, half-brothers, Barton Coxon of Michigan, Don Smith of Lewisburg, and Jimmy McCullough of Wheel; and stepgrandson, Trey Cashion of Lewisburg.
Graveside services, with Bill Tankersley officiating, were conducted Sunday, Jan. 3, in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The pallbearers were James Daughrity, Jason Coxon, Mike Conder, Dickie Massey, Chris McDaniel, and Benny Ray Clark.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
