Obituary: George Richard Dickovitch Sr.

George Richard Dickovitch Sr., 80, of Chapel Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Dickovitch was a native of Trenton, N.J. He served in the Navy and was a life-long member of the National Rifle Association. He was a retired roofer with Local #30, Trenton, N.J.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Julius and Theresa Holnich Dickovitch.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Dickovitch of Chapel Hill; sons, George (Kathy) Dickovitch Jr. of Chapel Hill and Guy (Janet) Dickovitch of Trenton, N.J.; and four granddaughters.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Jan. 10, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with William Kelley officiating, followed by burial in Swanson Cemetery,
