Mr. Ralph A. Boatright, age 95 of the Blue Creek Community, died at home Friday, January 8, 2010.
Mr. Boatright was born in the Blue Creek Community of Giles County, Tennesse, son of the late Earnie and Mary Lee Birdsong Boatright. He was a farmer and member of the Cornersville First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, two brothers, Floyd Boatright and Will Boatright and an infant sister, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of seventy-three years, Virginia Clark Boatright of the Blue Creek Community, two sons, Larry (Phylis) Boatright of Lewisburg and Gary (Susie) Boatright of Cornersville, sister, Peggy Ingram of Pulaski, brother, Dean Boatright of Pulaski, three grandchildren, Michael Boatright of Lebanon, Chris Boatright of Cornersville, and Carrie Riner of Clarksville, two great grandchildren, Joe and Bonnie Boatright, nieces and nephews, and two special friends, Stephanie Smithson and Patsy Staggs.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mars Hill Cemetery.
The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Sunday until the funeral hour for visitation.
The ministers are Barry Fralix and Stephen McCollum. Pallbearers are Ricky Boatright, Glenn Boatright. John Boatright, Kevin Boatright, Steve Boatright, John David Hamlin.
