Frances Anita Glasscock Pigg, 85, of Cornersville, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at NHC Oakwood.
Mrs. Pigg was a native of the Palmetto Community. She was retired from the Tennessee Housing Development Association and the South Central Human Resource Agency, and was a member of the Cornersville Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Jacob and Zelna Cooke Glasscock; husband, Russell Pigg; and stepdaughter, Carolyn Baird.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Larry) Roberts of Cornersville; sons, Jim (Lynn) Pigg of Altamonte Springs, Fla. and Ron (Rita) Pigg of Cornersville; stepson, Bob (Kimberly) Wayne of York, Pa.; sister, Billye (Bob) Phillips of Huntsville, Ala.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the Cornersville Church of Christ, followed by burial in Short Cemetery.
Memorial donations be made to the NHC Oakwood Activity Fund or the Cornersville Church of Christ Youth Fund.
Cornersville Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
