Obituary: Frances K. Purdom

Frances K. Purdom, 76, of Nolensville, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, in Nashville.

Mrs. Purdom was born in Rutherford, N.C. She was retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member of the Concord-Grandview Baptist Church in Nolensville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Johnnie Elma Bridges Kendrick.

She is survived by her husband, Kenney E. Purdom of Nolensville; sons, George W. Allen of Lexington, Ky. and Russell L. Purdom of Nolensville; brother, Norris Kendrick of Sumter, S.C.; sister, Carolyn McCartha of Forest City, N.C.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Jan. 24, at Concord-Grandview Baptist Church in Nolensville with Rev. Randall Jackson officiating, followed by burial in Nolensville Cemetery.

Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services was in charge of arrangements.
