A Marshall County Circuit Court jury on Thursday delivered a guilty verdict for a Lewisburg man who was on trial charged with sale and delivery of crack cocaine.
Tyrone Pierce Jr., 34, of Silver Street was indicted last year on two counts each of sale and delivery of crack cocaine and one count of simple possession of illegal drugs.
Pierce's trial was his second on those charges as a result of a mistrial declared three months earlier because of flaws in the discovery process before that October trial. Discovery is the exchange of information between prosecution and defense attorneys.
