Girl Scout Cookie Booths will be available at the following businesses: Kroger: Feb. 19, 20, 21, 24, 26, 27 and 28. Wal-Mart: Feb. 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28. Rex's Foodland in Chapel Hill: Feb. 20. The purchase of Girl Scout Cookies helps fund camping, educational trips, programs, and community service projects for girls in Marshall County. Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, girls learn how to work together as a team, set goals and develop plans to reach for those goals. Additionally, they cultivate interpersonal communications skills and acquire knowledge in marketing, money management and customer service.

Columbia State's Center for Economic and Workforce Development is offering emergency medical services training to help professionals maintain current skills, develop new skills, and meet continuing education requirements.
