The Marshall County School System has received information from the Tennessee Department of Health regarding the new immunization requirements for children entering school for the first time (pre-school and kindergarten) and for students who will be entering 7th grade this fall (2010). Please contact the Health Department (359-1551) or your medical provider to make sure your child has these immunizations prior to the start of the 2010-2011 school year.

The purchase of Girl Scout Cookies helps fund camping, educational trips, programs, and community service projects for girls in Marshall County. Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, girls learn how to work together as a team, set goals and develop plans to reach for those goals. Additionally, they cultivate interpersonal communications skills and acquire knowledge in marketing, money management and customer service.
