Obituary: Hazel L. Davis

Hazel L. Davis, 52, of Lewisburg, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Marshall Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Annie Davis; parents, Herbert Frank and Mattie Lou Davis; sister, Mattie Davis; and grandsons, Ra'Kyus and Ta'vyus Locke.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Locke; son, Tony Davis of Lewisburg; sisters, Annie B. Jones, Janie Woodson, and Vivian Davis; brothers, Willie Frank Davis, Jimmy Davis, and Richard "Bubba" Davis; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Davis will lie in state from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Lewisburg Family Life Center, 466 Heil Avenue, Lewisburg.

She will lie in state from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Greater First Baptist Church, 512 5th Avenue North, Lewisburg, where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Maury County.
