Hope everyone enjoyed the nice weather we had during last weekend. It makes one want to work in flowers and plant a vegetable garden. Buttercups are up and will soon be blooming.

The Lynnville Literary and Fine Arts Society will meet on Thursday evening, March 11 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the Lynnville First Presbyterian Church. Teresa Williamson will be the guest speaker following dinner.

The Lynnville Community Club will meet at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning, Feb. 27, at Soda Pop Junction. March will be membership month for those interested in joining.

The Lynnville First Presbyterian Church will present an Easter Program on Sunday evening, March 28, beginning at 5 p.m. with a potluck fellowship dinner to follow the program.

The annual Robert B. Jones High School Alumni Association will meet on Saturday, May 8, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Lynnville Municipal Building. A potluck lunch will be served at noon. A program will follow the meal. Make plans now to attend the meeting of this dear old school that once stood on the eastern borders of Lynnville.

Decoration Day Services will be held at the Lynnwood Cemetery on Sunday afternoon, May 9, at 3 p.m.

News From The Campus of Richland Middle and High School...

Future Business Leaders of America Regional winners from Richland High School were as follows: Acct. I-lst Reed Miller; Parliamentary Proc. 2nd-Reed Miller; Ethics 2nd-Gina Harwell; Impromptu Speaking 2nd-Gina Harwell; Digital Forensics 2nd-Jason Moore; Word Processing II 2nd-Dillon Oman; Digital Forensics 3rd-Jared Moore; and Public Speaking II 5th-Brent Helton.

Francene Smith, 6th grade teacher, presented a Black History Program on Friday, Feb. 19 at 8 a.m. in the school auditorium to the 5th, 6th, and 7th grades.

Health Occupations Students of America Regional winners from Richland High School were as follows: Biomedical Debate lst-Waylon Brusch, Kevin Coggin, Melissa Cox, Kenzie Cooper; Career Health Display 1st-Zach Wallace, Jessica Briggs; Dental Terminology 1st-Melania Myers; Biotechnology 3rd-Lane Erwin.

The Middle School Library sponsored a Book Fair this week at school.

The Richland High Future Farmers of America are celebrated FFA Week Feb. 22 though 25. Monday was the "Muddiest Truck Day and Camo Day," Tuesday was "Western Day," Wednesday was "Member-Faculty Luncheon and FFA Shirt Day," and Thursday was "Tractor Day, Greenhand Day, Overall Day and FFA Member Breakfast."
