Obituary: Mattie Louise Nix

Mattie Louise Nix, 76, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at her residence. Mrs. Nix was a native of Giles County. She was retired from Marshall Manufacturing Co. and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Dunnivant and Louella Mae Roberts Dunnivant; brothers, Robert, John, G. H. and J. B. Dunnivant; and sisters, Virginia Watkins, Polly Edwards, and Christine Edwards.

She is survived by her children, Randy Nix and Wanda Nix, both of Lewisburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nix were conducted Tuesday, March 9, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Tim McGehee and Paul Woodford officiating, followed by burial in Sunset Park Cemetery.
