Jeffrey Lee Cheeves, 48, died Monday, March 8, 2010, in Manchester, from injuries in an automobile accident.
Mr. Cheeves was a native of Marshall County. He was employed by HeathCo Corporation, and was a member of Bethbirei Presbyterian Church. He was an avid University of Tennessee fan and coached youth baseball in Lewisburg.
He is survived by his parents, Roy and Carlene Morton Cheeves; brother, Jimmy (Brenda) Cheeves; sister, Patsy (Dale) Bowling; niece, Brooke Borne; and nephews, Andy Bowling and Trent Cheeves, all of Lewisburg. Five great-nieces, one great-nephew, and special children Matthew Yowell, Jay Jay Parker, and Austin Parker, also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Cheeves will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Claude McMillion officiating, followed by burial in Hopper Cemetery in the Laws Hill Community of Marshall County.
Visitation with the family started Tuesday afternoon, and continues Wednesday from noon until the service at the funeral home.
