The USDA's Farm Service Agency reminds Marshall County producers who purchased a NAP (Non-Insured Crop Disaster Assistance Program) policy on 2010 hay or pasture that they are required to make their crop acreage report for hay and/or pasture by March 15 in order to be eligible for benefits in the event of a disaster. Scholarships from the Marshall County Education Association and the Marshall County Retired Teachers Association are on offer for upcoming college juniors and seniors who are graduates of Marshall County high schools, are majoring in education, and plan to pursue a career in teaching.
