Thefts and vandalism reported

* Counterfeit checks for $996.13 and $963.84 were cashed at Heritage South Credit Union around 11 a.m. April 7 by two women from Murfreesboro.

* A Honda EM 3000C generator worth $1,400 was stolen from a trailer parked behind 211 West Commerce Street between 9 a.m. April 4 and 4 a.m. April 6. No other items were missing from the trailer.

* A red Honda 2000 watt generator, valued at $1,100, was stolen from a storage container at a cabin at the end of Wilson Road. The cabin had also been broken into, but nothing appeared to be missing.

* A 32-inch Vizio flat screen TV and a camcorder, total value: $700, were taken from a unit at Maple Grove Apartments after entrance was made through a window sometime between 11 a.m. April 7 and 5 p.m. April 8.

* A Stihl trimmer, a Black & Decker sander, a pair of fencing pliers, and a ball peen hammer, total value: $354, were taken from the garage of a home on Gills Chapel Road.

* A Dell tower worth $200 and a Sanyo 25-inch TV were taken from a storage shed and a residence on Spring Place Road.

* Three Goodyear Wrangler tires on an F-150 pickup truck, total value: $255, were slashed while the truck was parked at the owner's home on John Lunn Road.

* The glass door of the Breeze-In Market was broken by someone who threw a rock or piece of asphalt at it. The owner stated it would cost $250 to replace the glass.

* A window was shot out at Darrell's ATV on Nashville Highway sometime between 6 p.m. April 9 and noon April 10. The owner stated it would cost $250 to repair.

* A $200 iPod was taken from a home on Cedar Street. The homeowner told police she had a visitor April 3, and when he left the iPod was gone too.

* A jigsaw, hand saw, and miter saw, total value: $120, were stolen from the storage shed of a residence on 7th Avenue sometime between April 3 and April 9.

* The driver of a gray Dodge pickup truck with a camper top pumped $50-worth of gas at the Murphy Oil station on Rock Crusher Road and drove off without paying.

* Crystal Beech, 34, Nashville Highway. Bond: $10,500; court date: May 18.

* Willie Steffon Crutcher, 42, Chapel Hill. Bond: $10,500; court date: May 18.

Arrested and charged with domestic assault

* Andrew Dillon Davis, 23, Walnut Street. Davis violated his bond conditions on April 11 and is now held without bond for court on May 10.

* Robert Clay Howard, 47, Belfast Avenue. Bond: $1,000; court date: May 3.

Turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for domestic assault

* Calvin D. Copeland, 26, Columbia. Bond: $1,000; court date: May 3.

Arrested and charged with driving under the influence (3rd offence) and violation of the implied consent law

* Joshua L. Haskins, 22, Ashwood Avenue. Bond: $2,500; court date: May 17. Also cited for loud music.

* Virgil Lee Hoover, 30, 4th Avenue. Bond: $500; court date: May 10.

* Johnathon R. Leonard, 18, Centennial Avenue. Bond: $500; court date; May 10.

* Andrew W. Clark, 24, John R. Hill Road. Bond: $500; court date: May 3. Also cited for failure to obey a traffic control (did not stop at a stop sign).

* Alexander Castorela, 29, Limestone Avenue. Bond: $500; court date: May 10. Also cited for no child restraint.

Arrested and charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

* Kaitlyn L. Dooley, 19, Walnut Street. Bond: $1,500; court date: May 10.

Arrested as a fugitive from justice on a warrant from Kentucky

* Michael F. Albensi, 46, McClure Street. Held without bond for court on April 12.

Arrested on a probation revocation warrant from Rockwall County, Texas

* Christy Lynn Cole, 44, Cornersville. Held without bond for court on April 13. Cole was also served with a fugitive from justice warrant.

* Zachary Seth Easterwood, 26, Apple Street. Bond: $3,000; court date: April 13.
