Thefts and vandalism reported

* Two laptop computers and a Wii game system, total value: $2,550, and $600 cash, were stolen from a residence on Saddlewood Drive between 8:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. April 12. The case was turned over to the detective division of Lewisburg Police Department.

* A Lorcin 9mm semi-automatic handgun, a holster, and a box of ammunition, total value: $170, were taken from a residence on Long Distance Road. Damages totaling $800 were done to the front and rear doors, an interior door, and a locked drawer.

* Between April 17 and 19, someone entered the office/scale house at Rogers Group quarry and took $235 cash. The door and a box that video recordings were stored in were damaged, and the door will cost $300 to replace.

* A Play Station 3, with a controller and game, total value: $370, was stolen from a residence on Washington Drive between 6 and 10:30 p.m. April 13.

* A Wii game system and two games, total value: $345, were stolen from an unlocked car parked at a residence on Franklin Road.

* Between 10 p.m. April 17 and 10 a.m. April 18, the face plates of a Pioneer radio/CD player and a JVC radio/cassette player, total value: $300, were stolen from two vehicles parked at a residence on Franklin Road.

* A Heritage South debit card was taken out of a woman's purse while she was at work, and was used three times, for a total of $103.76.

* A mailbox that will cost $35 to replace was damaged at a residence on Polly Adams Road, Belfast. The victim told Marshall County Sheriff's deputies he thought the vandalism was connected to threats he has been receiving.

* A kayak was stolen from a man whose property on River Court Drive backs up to the Duck River. The MCSD has the names of four suspects, and the kayak was later recovered.

* Dawn M. Crane, 18, of Lambert Street, was caught shoplifting items worth a total of $27 from Wal-Mart. Her court date is May 10.

Arrested on a warrants from the 17th Judicial District Drug Task Force for promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine

* Robert Jason Burgess, 35, East Commerce Street. Bond: $6,000; court date: May 18. Burgess was also arrested on other DTF warrants for sale of a schedule III drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple possession of a schedule II drug. Bond on the other warrants totals $8,000; court date: April 20.

* Curtis R. Casper, 18, Chapel Hill. Bond: $4,500; court date; May 18. The warrants are for concealing stolen property, simple possession or casual exchange to a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, theft of property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and vandalism of government property.

* Rodney G. Washington, 28, Nashville. Held without bond for court on April 27.

* Amy G.Burlison, 23, West End Avenue North. Bond: $1,000; court date; May 10. Burlison was also served with a criminal summons for simple assault, with the same court date.

* Larry L. Rundle Jr., 43, Wade Road. Bond; $1,000; court date; May 10.

* April L. Whitehead, 36, Crestland Street. Bond: $1,000; court date: May 10.

* Justin Ray Crane, 22, South Ellington Parkway, Bond: $1,000; court date; May 10.

* Vance R. Jones, 47, Hull Avenue. Held without bond for court on April 20. Jones was stopped by LPD Officer Kevin Clark and found to be driving without a license. Bond on this charge: $1,000; court date: May 10.

* Joe S. Armstrong, 51, White Drive. Held without bond for an unspecified court date.

* Terrance G. Carter, 39, College Street. Held without bond for court on April 27.

* John C. Mills, 21, Nashville. Held without bond for court on April 13.
