Obituary: Eugene Ward

Eugene Ward, 74, of Cornersville, died Friday, April 23, 2010, in Marshall Medical Center.

Mr. Ward was a native of Giles County. He was retired from the Dalton Sawmill.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Ward; daughter, Debra Greenway; and son, Kenneth Ward.

He is survived by his wife, Effie Mae Ward of Cornersville; three daughters, Pamela Ward of Lewisburg, and Monica Lemay and Jennifer Bevers, both of Cornersville; sister, Bessie Harwell of Pulaski; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted Monday, April 26, in Round Hill Cemetery at Belfast.

Cornersville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
