Wilma Gertrude Cook, 79, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, April 29, 2010, in NHC Oakwood Healthcare.
Mrs. Cook was a native of Hazel Green, Ala. and daughter of the late Ervin and Lela Mae Fulghum Humphrey. She was a school cafeteria cook and homemaker and was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Gene Humphrey, and sister, Dovie Humphrey.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Earl Cook of Lewisburg; two sons, Jerry Wayne Cook of Duncanville, Texas, and Thomas Earl Cook Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Louise Crabtree and Evelyn Gouge, both of Lewisburg; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 1, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wheel Cemetery.
