Obituary: Maxey Giles Jett

Maxey Giles Jett, 59, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in Maury Regional Hospital.

Mr. Jett was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late Robert Thomas and Edith Elizabeth Isley Jett. He was an employee of the State of Tennessee as a highway maintenance foreman. He was a member of the Life Song Family Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wade Jett.

He is survived by his wife, Kimsue Jett of Lewisburg; two sons, Nathan (Amanda) Jett of Ethridge and Storm Jett of Lewisburg; two daughters, Tammy (Bobby) Jett Adams of Lewisburg and Kateri Jett of Lewisburg; one brother, Alfred Jett of Ardmore, Tenn.; first wife, Dorothy Victory Jett of Lewisburg; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethbeiri Cemetery.
