Obituary: Julia Tate McDaniel
Julia Tate McDaniel left this world on Friday, June 25, 2010, to be with her heavenly Father.
Mrs. McDaniel has been an active member of Union Presbyterian Church in Belfast since a very young age, rarely missing a worship service or church activity. She has lived in Brentwood at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living for the last one and a half years.
She was born Jan. 3, 1912, to Julia and Clarence Tate, who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her husband of 52 years, Robert O. McDaniel, two sisters, and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie M. (Don) Morris; her son, Bob T. (Kaye) McDaniel; four grandchildren, Todd and Tim Morris, Carrie Smith, and Tate McDaniel; nine great-grandchildren, Anna, Tyler, Emma, Richard, Will, and Sarah Morris, Julia Smith, and Riley and Mary Charles McDaniel. She is also survived by a sister, Catherine Glenn, and a cousin, Sarah Orr.
There was a private graveside service on June 28 at Head Springs Cemetery in Belfast for family and close friends.
