The Gwinnett Braves defeated the Norfolk Tides 9-4 on Tuesday night at Coolray Field as Gwinnett starting pitcher Mike Minor continued his impressive start for the Triple-A Braves.
For the second start in a row, Minor allowed only one run in five innings pitched, struck out six Norfolk batters, and walked two.
In 12.2 innings pitched in his two starts for the Gwinnett Braves, Minor (2-0) has struck out 15 batters and allowed only two earned runs.
It is unclear whether Minor will get another start before his appearance in the Future's Game Monday night in Anaheim.
