Obituary: Sylvia Evelyn Kolenda

Sylvia Evelyn Kolenda, 67, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at her residence.

Ms. Kolenda was a native of Meridian, Miss. and daughter of the late A.D. and Lurline Maner Singleton. She was a homemaker.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jakob Kolenda in October of 2006, she is survived by one daughter, Vickie Teel of Port Charlotte, Fla.; sister, Doris Quinnelly of California; brother, Dewitt Singleton of Mississippi; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Ms. Kolenda's body will be cremated and there will be no visitation or services.

London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
