Thefts and vandalism reported

* An outbuilding at a property on Tyree Road was broken into sometime between June 26 and 27. The items taken were valued at just over $1,000 and included tools, a Poulan chainsaw, an Echo gas trimmer, a Tecumseh power posthole digger, two grinders, a small air compressor, and five metal snaps.

* Between June 9 and 18, someone damaged both front quarter panels of a 2005 Honda Civic. Owner estimates it will cost $1,000 to repair.

* The dash of a 2002 Nissan Sentra was ripped out in an attempt to steal the radio between 2 p.m. July 2 and 8:30 a.m. July 3 while the car was parked at the owner's residence on College Street. Estimated cost of repair: $300.

* The vinyl siding of a home on 7th Avenue North was damaged the evening of July 4 by what appeared to be pellets fired from a BB gun. Estimated cost of repair: $200.

* A blue couch and blue oversized chair, estimated value: $150, were taken from a residence on Woodside Avenue between 8:30 p.m. July 1 and 12:30 a.m. July 2. There was no sign of forced entry.

* A purse containing a wallet and drivers license was stolen from a car parked at Wee Care while a mother was taking her child inside.

* A prescription for 60 Lortab was called in and picked up at Wal-Mart by a person who knew the victim's date of birth. A picture of the woman who picked up the prescription was captured on security video.

* Victoria L. Coyle, 34, Petersburg. Held without bond for court on July 13. Coyle was involved in the wreck on Cornersville Road about 9 p.m June 29. Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy Jerry Harden had been looking for Coyle to serve the warrants and arrest her when he got a call to the wreck and found her there.
