Obituary: Martha Stauffer

Martha Stauffer, 76, of Lewisburg, died Friday, July 30, 2010, in Lewisburg.

Mrs. Stauffer was born in Williamston, N.C. and was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Nealie Jones Taylor.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stauffer was also preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Roberson and Shirley Bailey, and by a brother, Sam Taylor.

Mrs. Stauffer is survived by her husband, John Stauffer of Lewisburg; daughter, Krisandra Reskevich of Carmel, Ind.; son, Michael Powell of Gainesville, Va.; three sisters, Betty Moore of Roper, N.C., Peggy Hubert of Phoenix, Ariz., and Rose Leggett of Bear Grass, N.C.; six brothers, Garland Taylor of Norfolk, Va., Carl Taylor of Lake Charles, La., and Dan Taylor, Billy Taylor, Tony Taylor, and James Taylor, all of Bear Grass, N.C; and four grandchildren.
