Myrtle Ruth Warf Henry, 72, of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010.
Mrs. Henry was a longtime native of Williamson County. She lived in Marshall County from 2001-2006 and in Murfreesboro from 2007 to the present. She was a secretary for 17 years with the Williamson County School Systems and was a member of Millview Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Sally Burns Warf; sisters, Ollie Mae Warf Poteete, Eunice Warf Barnes and Jessie Warf Davis; and brother, Oscar H. Warf Jr.
She is survived by husband, James Houston Henry of Franklin; daughter, Mary Ruth Henry (John) Webb of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Austin Tyler and Madison Taylor Webb; brothers, Wendell Warf of Eagleville, James Warf of Hinton, W.V., Alvin Warf of Anaheim, Calif. and Billy Warf of Haleyville, Ala.; sisters, Cora Warf Epps of Nolensville, Betty Jean Warf Phipps of LaVergne, and Ila Warf Pewitt of Franklin.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Slayton officiating. Interment will be in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
The active pallbearers will be Carl and Randall Warf, Trey and Lance Lee, Ron Phipps, Kenneth and Todd Henry, and Danny Webb. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be anytime on Wednesday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
