Kedren Johnson, a 6-foot-4 senior guard for the Marshall County High School boys basketball team, announced Wednesday his intention to play for Vanderbilt.
Johnson, ranked as the 75th-best senior basketball player in the country by the national recruiting service Rivals.com, chose the Commodores over Alabama, Louisville and Florida.
As a junior, Johnson helped lead the Tigers to a state semifinal appearance. He averaged 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists a game.
